We believe that the best impact we can make in our community to stop the spread of COVID-19 is to make non-medical reusable face masks available to those of us who do not have the means to purchase masks, and who do not have the luxury of being able to self-isolate.
Thank you so much to the many, many people that either donated through the website or just dropped off money at our shop during the past 3 months. We have donated masks to organizations such as Feed the Need Durham, the Back Door Mission centralized crisis centre, the Welcoming Streets Program and the Refuge Youth Outreach Centre. All of these organizations remained open and provided services to vulnerable people in our community throughout the entire pandemic.
Our Tally as of June 18th: 2588 MASKS (continually updated)
